Team Silent Courage: Walking to find a cure for Alzheimer's

Tomorrow we are taking part in the Alzheimer's Walk for the Cure! For those who do not already know this walk really hits home for us. This year we are walking in honor of Jason's dad, Rich and in memory of my Aunt Joan. We named our team "Silent Courage" for dad, since he is the strong but quiet type of person.  :)  It means so much to those who have decided to join our team and walk and to those who have donated to such a worthy cause.  Along with Mom and Dad Keyser, Jason, myself and Brayden, Katie, Megan and  Jill and her daughter Abby are attending.  I know this walk also runs close to Jill's heart because she is walking in memory of her Grandmother.  This year our local walk(5K) is taking place at Citizen's Bank Park, aka Phillies Stadium, in Philadelphia, PA.

For more information about the Alzheimer's and to support the Association please check out their site linked above.

For the walk I made shirts for everyone so we can represent "Silent Courage" proudly.  The shirts are a dark purple (Alzheimer's Association color), although the camera makes the coloring looks "off". I randomly came across the purple ribbon fabric, and knew it was meant to be!
