Getting in to Trouble :)

Brayden always manages do get in to everything and it cracks me up.  Yeah i spend most of my time constantly re-fixing things but that's a moms job!
He was sitting in his pack and play that I still haven't taken down in my room. lol He doesn't sleep in it but it's acting as a storage area...yeah i gotta take it down. :)  I caught him making a mess of all the diapers! How can you not laugh at that face!! He never ceases to make my day!

FIRST TOOTH!

We have BREAKTHROUGH!! lol Brayden finally got his first tooth! Poor kid has been teething since he was about 3- 3 1/2 months and finally had a pearly white pop through! It's his bottom right tooth. He is defiitely not the best teether but I had no idea that his tooth finally broke through b/c he was SO good all day!  It looks like there is another one making its way up right next to it, I can see it. he still has all the teething symptoms of drooling, runny nose, chewing relentlessly on anything and everything and not wanting his full bottles at most of his feedings.  I wish that all of his teeth would just pop on out at once but we all know it doesn't work like that! :/

He's trying to show off his new tooth! it's SO hard to see it b/c he always puts hit tongue over his gums but you can feel it in there and it's SHARP! :) The first pic you can see a little glimmer of it

6 month and gastro appt!

Busy week with dr's appointments for Brayden!  Yesterday we had his follow up appointment for the gastroenterologist at CHOP (children's hospital of philadelphia).  Things are looking good. I am SO relived. The dr was happy with his progress and we are keeping him on the same dosage of medication until we go back in three months. At that point we will cut his dose in half and go from there. Our goal is to hopefully ween him off by 12 months if his tummy allows.
He was so good at the drs, i think his favorite part was the paper on the table. lol He had a ball!

Today was his regular pedes 6 month appt! He seriously is getting so big!   The dr was really happy with his growth. Of course he was a little ham and was flirting with the dr. He is now 28 1/4 inches long (98%) and 16lb 8oz(36%)!! TALL and SKINNY! :)  She was really impressed with his development. Fortunately he has been a little ahead of schedule on things, so you know i'm a proud mom!  : )  So now we are going to add a third meal a day and he can eat more meats, beans ext.  

He did REALLY well with his shots.  he had one oral and three in the legs. He only cried and little and didn't scream bloody murder this time. Of course mom shed a tear but we played right after and his adorable smiles were back 30 seconds later!! 

I think I can, I think I can!

Brayden's been TRYING to crawl since he was about 5 months. But at this point he kicks and rocks and only manages to scoot backwards. lol It's still super early, but I think it is SO cute!!! In the meantime he will just continue to roll super fast around the house to get to where he needs! : P 

I think i can do this....

geez mom ...no pressure! :)

Silly Cousins!

I meant to post this like 2 weeks ago but I FINALLY uploaded the videos off my video camera. Brayden and Makenzie (his cousin) are a trip together! Makenzie doesn't realize how strong and big she is compared to Brayden and all he wants to do it touch faces and eat people. lol I can't wait to see what kind of trouble these two get in to when he is older! :)

Booty Popping!?

I LOVE the way babies sleep! Poor Brayden is like his mom and is a HUGE figet when he sleeps! He is always tossing and turning and trying to get comfortable.  I love watching him move and roll all over his crib to find his "comfy spot".  Sometimes I just don't know HOW he manages to be comfortable in the positions he pics! I would definitely have to say that the "butt in the air" is my favorite and the cutest thing! I even tried to lay like this myself and i have no idea why he likes it!  But apparently Jason use to love sleeping this way as a child... like father like son! Gotta love the small things in life.. i love being a mom!
